Title: Pool Construction & Maintenance– Team Lead

Full-Time Seasonal (Mid-March to November)

The services we provide include liner repair and replacement, openings and closings, pool and spa water testing and advise on water treatment from both a safety and comfort standpoint. Job Requirements

  • Ability to learn quickly and follow instruction/procedures
  • Ability to work both as an individual and in a team environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Motivated and organized
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job (lift up to 50 pounds)
  • Knowledge of pools is an asset
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain professional work performance
  • Ability to work efficiently
  • Effective oral communication skills both with coworkers and customers

Duties Include:

  • Assist with opening and closing customer swimming pools
  • Assist with new equipment installation
  • Clean pools
  • Assist with repair, replace, installation pool equipment – pumps, filters, etc
  • Assist with liner preparation and installation
  • Assist with pool safety cover installation
  • Construction of new pools
  • Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms
  • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete
  • Assist Team Lead in construction activities
  • Assist with laying sod, cement finishes on construction site
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps
  • Assembly and installation of pre-formed steel wall panels Installation of wall and deck bracing
  • Completion of plumbing Completion of gunite concrete footing and pool bottom Gravel backfill behind pool walls

      Required

  • Valid G License
  • Steel toe footwear

Considered an asset

  • Plumbing, concrete, interlock and carpentry experience
  • Experience operating a bobcat, skid steer, dump truck, attached trailer
  • Pool maintenance experience

Additional Requirements

  • During the busy months may be required to work long days and/or 6 days a week
  • Will be working in all kinds of weather conditions
  • Familiarity with basic tools and basic mechanical aptitude

Title: Service & Maintenance Technician – Pool & Spa

Duties Include:

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems
  • Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings and offer product knowledge
  • Build positive relationships with customers
  • Repair, replace, install pool equipment – pumps, motors
  • Liner preparation and installation
  • Pool and concrete renovations and repairs
  • Oversee the work and provide direction to the Laborer Assistant assigned
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Assist in pool openings and closings during busy season
  • Learn from service lead about hot tub service and procedures – on the job training
  • Perform a variety of tasks related to spas, problem diagnosis, and troubleshooting by carrying out assigned duties in a safe manner

 Required

  • Valid G License
  • Steel toe footwear
  • English literacy

Considered an asset

  • Previous pool experience and equipment knowledge
  • Hot tub service experience and knowledge
  • Experience with electrical
  • Plumbing, concrete, interlock and carpentry experience
  • Experience driving bobcat, skid steer, dump truck, attached trailer
